Q: What is the difference between THIS Limited Time and the later Editions (with regular cover and limited edition cover)?

A: This is a very special early support edition, in case you want to help with the enormous work and design process. This edition is available for a limited time ONLY. When this limited Early Patron Special Edition is sold out, it will not be available again.

Unless otherwise noted, all orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order is fulfilled and on it's way to postal office.

International Shipping

We offer international shipping to outside of Finland.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Board Game Hell is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

All orders are mailed to you by 1st Class Priority Mail or Standard Economy Class Mail. These shipping methods DO NOT include tracking.

If you want to include the tracking service on your order, please contact us. You are responsible for any extra costs this will add on your order.

If you haven’t received your order within 60 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at admin@boardgamehell.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Upgrade pack for the owners of the original Hobo's Deluxe Settlement Book™?

Some of you have asked about this, so I share my answer here:

Unfortunately there will be no upgrade pack for the original book. I tried that, but the small format of the book doesn't allow any extra info to be added (GCE, promos, expansions, etc. — everything is much larger than we knew back then). The new book will be the same size as all our books now, like Huntsman's Journal. And thicker, most likely.

BUT we will release a regular edition of this new "Settlement Book II" for pre-order in 2025, where owners of the original book will receive an upgrade discount. It will be almost identical to this one in terms of content.

But please note that it will NOT contain any of the Special Edition bonuses listed here. This Special Edition is for those who want to support the months long work on the new book (which will be our best one so far).
